Who created the Rouxbe Cooking School?

The Rouxbe Cooking School was founded by two professional chefs in 2005 and was developed in partnership with Northwest Culinary Academy – an accredited culinary school. The Rouxbe Cooking School is now being used by home cooks in over 200 countries and by culinary schools and instructors around the world.

Rouxbe has about 1,000 close-up instructional hi-definition videos to help you become a better and more confident cook.

How much is tuition?

Tuition plans include $29.95 per month, $239.00 per year. Yes, this may seem steep but keep this in mind.

Learning to cook, taking cooking classes and going to cooking school is an investment that will reap rewards for life. A single 3 to 4-hour recreational cooking class can cost between $60 and $135 (and up), and you don’t get a video of the class to take home and watch over and over again.

At Rouxbe, at a cost of $20/month (Annual Plan) or $30/month (Monthly Plan), students can take as many classes as they like, have access to the entire cooking school curriculum, and have full access to hundreds of video and text recipes.
