How To Make Hummus

Hummus is a simple, nutritious, and tasty snack. You can serve with with any whole grain chip, cracker or spread it on your sandwich in place of any other condiment.


  • 1-15oz. can chickpeas (garbanzo)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup Tahini
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 lemon, zest & juice
  • salt
  • 1/4 olive oil



Place all the ingredients in a food processor except the olive oil. Blend well and slowly add the olive oil, salt to taste.
