Paella: the Dish that Brings People Together
Paella is a classic Spanish dish comprised of rice, stock, saffron, and a variety of meats, shellfish and vegetables. All are cooked in one giant pan, outside, over an open fire. Paella originates in Valencia, Spain, and the name of the dish refers to the pan in which it is cooked. The dish symbolizes the heritage of two cultures, Roman, where the pan originated and Arab the source of the basic ingredient, rice. The Romans, who also conquered Spain, brought with them a flat dish to cook with, called patella. This word evolved into paila and finally paella (pronounced pah-ay-liah).
I come from Spanish ancestors who taught me all the right techniques needed to make the perfect Paella. Using the finest ingredients and making sure that everything I put in the paella is fresh and are of top quality are two of the major things that sets me apart from the competition. The Hungry Cuban Paella
A mouth watering combination of my secret spice mix marinated boneless chicken thigh, fresh seafood (peeled and deveined jumbo tail-on shrimp, mussels in the shell) elegantly prepared with real traditional Saffron (no yellow food coloring used here), Bomba Rice, seasoned with excellent stock and vegetables (garlic and tomato Sofrito, sweet early peas and roasted peppers) garnished with lemon wedges. All paellas served with Mediterranean Salad (romaine lettuce, tomato, Spanish olives, cucumber, and sweet red onions) and my own Lemon vinaigrette made with extra-virgin Spanish olive oil. Fresh rolls round out the complete paella dinner.

- $15 per guest from 51 – 150
Pricing is incremental
- The first 20 guests is $25 per guest.
- The next 30 guests add $20 per guest on top of the initial 20 guests.
- From 50 to 150 guests the price is additional $15 per guest.
